Fly The Farm introduces a new owner & CEO

Successful drone technology company Fly the Farm has introduced a new Director and CEO as of 1 November 2023.

Ben Trollope had joined FTF after serving as CEO and Chief Pilot of Uncrewed Operations.

Meg Kummerow, founder of Fly The Farm is eager to see where Ben can take the brand and knows she’s made the right decision to serve both existing and new clients. 

“I am very confident that with Ben’s leadership, Fly The Farm will achieve new levels of success that will make its associates, investors, and stakeholders proud.” said Kummerow. “I have all faith that FTF is in the right hands” she added.

Prior to joining Fly The Farm, Ben held positions at Ripper Corp, Surf Life Saving Queensland and Careflight. He is a consultant and mentor to some of the country's largest UAV companies. 

To celebrate the take over, the Fly the Farm logo and branding has been given a facelift. “We wanted to keep the existing brand but modernise it and update the website and online store” Ben said. “Our team have created a really awesome brand and we’re super excited to start rolling it out across our marketing channels in the next few months” he added.

In the coming months, Fly the Farm will launch a new state of the art service and repair facility on the Gold Coast, Mobile repair vehicle and drone hire service.
